Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to some comments from Dejan Lovren, after the defender sensationally claimed the Reds can go the whole season unbeaten.

Manchester City’s recent loss to Chelsea means Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are now the only unbeaten side left in the league.

The Reds have started this campaign in incredible form, winning 14 out of 17 games and conceding just seven goals along the way.

Lovren has now drawn comparisons to Arsenal’s invincible season, tipping his side to finish the season without losing a Premier League game.

“Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season,” said the 29 year-old.

“Of course it will be a challenge but this is what we want, this is why we came here to Liverpool, because we know we can do it.

“Arsenal did it before so why not?”

Lovren has a tendency to jinx the Reds with brave comments such as these, as they are usually followed by a catastrophic performance from both himself and the rest of the team.

The Croatian international will certainly have a big role to play this season after the injuries to Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, but fans are crucifying  his comments ahead of a difficult trip to Wolves.
