As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouassi could be set for an exit from the club this summer, with the potential for both a loan and a permanent move on the cards.
What’s the story?
Kouassi has started just nine matches for the Hoops since joining the club last January in a reported £3m deal, unable to cement himself as a regular in Brendan Rodgers’ first team.
The 20-year-old needs regular football and as a result could be set for something of a surprising exit from Celtic Park this summer.
That’s according to the Scottish Sun, who report that teams from Belgium, France and Germany are all interested in signing him in the upcoming transfer window.
The paper say that while a loan is the most likely scenario that sees his exit, a permanent move is not off the cards should the Hoops receive a suitable bid.

Should he be given more opportunities?
There’s no doubting that the midfielder holds plenty of potential and despite limited appearances in the Hoops, has shown glimpses of becoming an exciting and dominating presence in the middle of the park.
The highlight of his Celtic career so far was an impressive showing at home to FC Zenit in the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League in February, demonstrating that he can perform at the kind of level Brendan Rodgers needs.
However, breaking the established midfield pairing at Celtic Park right now is exceptionally difficult with Scott Brown as crucial as ever to his side’s fortunes and Olivier Ntcham emerging as a classy and convincing partner.
With the likes of Callum McGregor also ready to step in, competition for places is fierce and perhaps a season on loan would be the best thing for Kouassi next term.
Celtic though should be wary of selling him too quick. He’s a player that can undoubtedly become an important player for the Hoops in years to come.
