During United's 1-0 loss to Bayern in the Champions League on Tuesday at Old Trafford, Garnacho tustled for the ball with Coman, before pushing the Frenchman down the pitchside slope and into the advertising hoardings. German newspaper then praised former Tottenham striker Harry Kane for confronting the United "hooligan" shortly after the Red Devils were dumped out of the competition. Coman had the last laugh as he scored the winning goal as the Bundesliga team topped the group whereas Erik ten Hag's men finished bottom.

Garnacho's act, arguably, sums up United at present. Things are not going their way results wise and frustrations are boiling over. Manager Ten Hag is in a fight to keep his job, the players are either underperforming or proving they are not good enough, and it seems United are destined to not pick up any silverware this season. For a club of their size and stature, that is a failure.

United's four points from six matches is their lowest in any Champions League campaign. Moreover, the 15 goals they conceded is the most by a Premier League team in any group stage of the illustrious tournament.
WHAT NEXT FOR UNITED?
With United now out of Europe entirely, they can only focus on the Premier League and FA Cup. On Sunday, they travel to league leaders Liverpool in what will be a daunting test.
