The only thing that does seem clear is that Greenwood, who remains under contract with United until 2025 with an option to extend by a further year, has no future at Old Trafford. The adds that he is "cool" on the idea of joining Marseille, despite reports to the contrary last month, and would still rather head back to La Liga after his loan with Getafe in 2023-24. United are asking £40 million ($51m) but have at best received a £25m offer from Valencia. There have been other rumours of a £21m bid from Lazio. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid continue to monitor the situation, with Juventus also interested.
