According to Dutch newspaper Ed.nl, PSV are looking to activate the purchase clause on Tillman's contract, however, a potential roadblock may sit in the way. Bayern Munich have a unique clause in the loan deal that would allow them to cancel the permanent acquisition of their USMNT player, if they pay a small fee to the Dutch club.

Tillman has been one of the top performers for PSV this season, with five goals and three assists across 12 Eredivisie matches. In the Champions League, he registered one assist across 323 minutes as well, helping see the Dutch side through to the knockout round of the tournament. Per the report, the fee agreed upon at the beginning of the loan for Tillman was $15.3m (€14m).
