Arsenal’s poor defensive record continued against Norwich on Sunday as they conceded two goals and would have let in more had it not been for the positive display of Bernd Leno.

Another man who impressed according to some fans was Calum Chambers, who started at right-back for the ninth time this season.

The 24-year-old has had a more prominent role for the Gunners this term following last year’s loan spell at Fulham, but he is yet to nail down a starting place in any specific position so far.

That could change now that Freddie Ljungberg is in the hotseat, though Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles will look to challenge that place when they are involved in the matchday squad, having both missed out against Norwich.

Chambers has impressed previously in this campaign and Arsenal fans are beginning to take a likening to him, having previously called for him to win the Player of the Month award.
