Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas posted his official Twitter account on Monday night and it left some Blues fans worried that he could soon be on his way out of the club.

The photo of him waving to the Stamford Bridge faithful was accompanied with a tagline of “Goodnight Chelsea FC”, and it is easy to see how it could be viewed to some people despite the fact that the transfer window closed last week.

Even though Nemanja Matic left for Manchester United this summer to boost Fabregas’ chances of more regular football, the arrivals of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater could once again restrict his time on the pitch this season.

Chelsea supporters were quick to give their reaction to the Spaniard’s post via social media, with some saying that they hope he isn’t planning to leave and others worried that he might not be happy.
