Chelsea, on Wednesday, confirmed the departure of midfielder Melanie Leupolz who joins Real Madrid.

The German international, who joined the Blues from Bayern Munich in March 2020, became an integral part of Emma Hayes' side. The midfielder won multiple trophies with the English giants including four Women's Super League and three Women's FA Cup titles. The 30-year-old becomes Las Blancas' third signing this summer ahead of the 2024/25 season.
