Speaking to BBC Radio 5, Littler said: "Who is my team on Football manager? Manchester United. How do I feel when I'm on a losing streak? Change it up. Change the players: Who is not in form, who is in form? Make the substitutions and try and win. Currently sat second in the Premier League. Won four out of four in the Champions League, I wish we [Manchester United] could do that!"

Littler failed to win the final of the PDC World Darts Championship, as he lost to Luke Humphries. Littler had a 4-2 lead before Humphries managed to win five straight sets to light up Alexandra Palace with a massive comeback. Nonetheless, Littler has shown to the world his abilities at the tender age of 16 and will likely become a role model in the world of professional darts. His achievements are in stark contract to those of Manchester United this season. The Red Devils are struggling in the Premier League and already out of European competition.

As per the BBC, Luke Littler has been selected for Premier League Darts following his fairytale run to the final of the PDC World Championship. Only eight players contest the 16-week series and the 16-year-old has been included. Humphries is also involved and will make his debut in the competition.
